The Southside Christian Warriors suffered their biggest loss since December 1, 2023 on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 41-14 loss at the hands of Living Water Christian. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Southside Christian in their matchups with Living Water Christian: they've now lost three in a row.
Anna Coley was Southside Christian's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Coley also led the team in rebounds with nine.
Living Water Christian was led to victory by JAYDIN JEFFERSON and JANISE HOLMES. JEFFERSON scored 14 points, while HOLMES scored 19 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which HOLMES has scored at least a third of Living Water Christian's points.
Southside Christian's loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Living Water Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southside Christian will take on Hilltop Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Living Water Christian, they will play host again and welcome Wilmington Christian Academy, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wilmington Christian Academy is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
