The Tupper Lake Lumberjacks will be defending their home-field for the first time this season they go up against the Notre Dame Jugglers  at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Tupper Lake will be strutting in after a  win while Notre Dame will be coming in after a  loss.
 Tupper Lake is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Bishop Grimes. Tupper Lake walked away with  a   28-16  victory over Bishop Grimes  on Saturday.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tupper Lake to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Brayden Shannon, who rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown. Shannon also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up  a  sack and making five total tackles which he returned  for a touchdown.  Luke Robillard handled things on the ground, rushing for 82 yards.
 Tupper Lake wouldn't let Bishop Grimes keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Tupper Lake can thank  Karter Kenniston and  Cooper Cuttaia for forcing both of them.
 Meanwhile, Notre Dame was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost  24-6 to Unatego/Franklin, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
