Fans got a thrill when Tristen Wilson and Carson Jennings connected against Sedan. The connection went for 56 yards, the longest such play in South Central Border (8 Man) this season.
West Elk extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Devils, 56-0. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Patriots.
Armando Gomez was a passing and rushing force as West Elk defeated Sedan.
Jennings was the best wideout in the league this week as Chris Haag's team beat Mick Holt's team. Jennings racked up 1 reception for 56 yards.
5-foot-3 quarterback Alec McDaniel of Argonia/Attica is the league leader in passing yards this season with 532. He has also thrown 9 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Nolan Williams. The Udall star has 11 catches for 230 yards.
An important game coming up in South Central Border (8 Man) this week will be when Udall takes on South Haven. At the moment, the Eagles are in second, while the Cardinals are in third.
South Haven was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after besting Oxford. David Hughes' team came in at 24 in the state poll after placing at number 28 last week.
