The Manning Monarchs will be playing at home against the Waccamaw Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Manning will be strutting in after a victory while Waccamaw will be coming in after a loss.
Manning's 17-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They walked away with a 38-26 victory over Georgetown. Manning's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Tahirah Wellington and Tamia Watson were among the main playmakers for Manning as the former scored 12 points along with six rebounds and the latter scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Watson has scored all season. Jasmine Coleman was another key contributor, scoring three points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Waccamaw's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 48-37 to Loris.
Manning's victory ended a eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-16. As for Waccamaw, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.
