He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with one stolen base and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted over his last 11 contests.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Konner Taunton, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Brue Milner was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one double.
Tallassee hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Montgomery Catholic struck out nine times.
