Despite the defeat, Roncalli saw an underclassman step up: Lydia Stahley scored 13 points along with seven rebounds. Taylor Turk was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Heritage Christian on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Eagles 45-40. Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory has struggled against Heritage Christian recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory saw an underclassman step up: Audra Kendall scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Robyn Pate, who scored ten points.
