Knox Central is 0-6 against Southwestern since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The match between Southwestern and Sevier County wasn't particularly close, with Southwestern falling 60-46. While losing is never fun, Southwestern can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 38th in Kentucky, while Sevier County is ranked fifth in Tennessee).
Southwestern's loss came about despite a quality game from Payton Acey, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kinsley Molden, who scored nine points.
