Boulder Creek is on a three-game streak of home wins, while the Vikings are on a six-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. Having just played yesterday, the Boulder Creek Jaguars will get right back to it and host the Sunnyslope Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Boulder Creek knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 12 matches -- so hopefully the Vikings like a good challenge.
Even though Boulder Creek has not done well against the Pioneers recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Boulder Creek took down the Pioneers 69-50.
It was another big night for Andrew Bhesania, who scored 26 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Matt Delgado, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Sunnyslope scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They claimed a resounding 88-48 victory over Mountain Ridge on the road. Sunnyslope has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Boulder Creek has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. As for Sunnyslope, their win bumped their record up to 16-5.
Boulder Creek beat the Vikings 71-64 in their previous matchup last Tuesday. Will Boulder Creek repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
