Aledo (Texas) didn't let up as Saturday's game came to a close, scoring 23 in the fourth quarter to seal a 38-10 victory over
Brenham (Texas).
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Daythan Davis in the second quarter, the Bearcats led 16-3 at the half.
The loss snapped Brenham's 14-game winning streak.
Brenham's lone touchdown came on a 55-yard pass from
Caleb Hill to
TreVonte Johnson in the fourth quarter.
Aledo had given up an average of 8.7 points prior to the contest. Brenham's 10 points were well below their season average of 40.2 per game. Brenham came in surrendering 17.2 points per game this season.
The loss comes after Brenham defeated Calhoun 56-21 last week.
