It was another big night for Nairi Latham, who scored 52 points for Marion P. Thomas. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Latham has scored all season.
People's Prep has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Marion P. Thomas, their win bumped their record up to 6-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. People's Prep's road trip will continue as they head out to face University Academy Charter at 4:00 p.m. on February 9th. University Academy Charter is coming into the contest with four straight defeats at home, meaning People's Prep will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory. As for Marion P. Thomas, they will head out on the road to face off against Eagle Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
