Basketball Recap: Fairfield Now 12-2 over Last 14 Games

If Armijo wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Fairfield, they should've done a better job of containing Johnnie Jones. The Fairfield Falcons enjoyed a cozy 61-43 victory over the Armijo Royals on Friday thanks in part to Jones, who almost dropped a double-double on 32 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Fairfield is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Armijo, their loss dropped their record down to 4-17.

Fairfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 57-45 win against Valley on the 3rd. Armijo has also already played their next game, a 74-64 victory against Johnson on the 3rd.
