Despite the loss, Trinity Christian Academy had strong showings from Ethan Wheeler, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds, and Cameron Anderson, who scored 11 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wheeler has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jordan Martinez, who scored 14 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Trinity Christian Academy's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 9-5. As for Stanton, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
Trinity Christian Academy will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against University Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th. University Christian is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games. As for Stanton, they will play host again and welcome Baker County, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Baker County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Tuesday.
