Hesperia Christian has gone a perfect 10-0 against Lucerne Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Hesperia Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Lucerne Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
Lucerne Valley's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Hesperia Christian has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.6 hits per game. It's a different story for Lucerne Valley, though, as they've been averaging 10.5 hits. Given Hesperia Christian's sizable advantage in that area, the Mustangs will need to find a way to close that gap.
Hesperia Christian took their win against Lucerne Valley in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 20-2 score.
