The Biglerville Canners's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fifth straight loss. They fell 44-33 to York Country Day. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Biglerville of the 52-49 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
Leading York Country Day to victory were Isaiah White and Ryan Maus. White scored 12 points, while Maus scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Josh Elias, who scored ten points.
Biglerville's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-8. As for York Country Day, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-1.
Biglerville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. York Country Day will be playing in front of their home fans against Lancaster Country Day at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
