The Bothell Cougars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Glacier Peak Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Bothell couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They suffered a rough 74-53 loss at the hands of Inglemoor on Monday. Bothell found out winning isn't easy when you don't work as a unit and rack up 11 fewer assists than your opponent.
Despite their loss, Bothell saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Jaylen Mclaughlin, who scored 9 points, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Kingston Mclaughlin, who scored 7 points.
Meanwhile, Glacier Peak earned a 59-47 victory over Skyview on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Glacier Peak.
Bothell's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Glacier Peak, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
Bothell strolled past Glacier Peak when the teams last played back in January by a score of 64-49. Does Bothell have another victory up their sleeve, or will Glacier Peak turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
