The Potter-Dix Coyotes lost against the Leyton Warriors back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Potter-Dix was beaten by Leyton 64-27. Potter-Dix was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-13.
Potter-Dix's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Crystal Dhooge, who scored nine points along with 12 rebounds, and Madison Williamson who scored 16 points. The game was Williamson's fifth in a row with at least ten points.
Potter-Dix's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-4. As for Leyton, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Potter-Dix will take on Caliche at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Caliche focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Saturday. Leyton will be home for the holidays to greet Hemingford on Saturday.
