The Tigers added to the longest winning streak in Boston - South this week by beating the Dragons, 21-8. The win marks seventh in a row for the O'Bryant.
Boston English's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Emmanuel Almonte threw for 149 yards and Ruben Pena-Sanchez had 75 yards receiving. On the ground Almonte chipped in 145 yards. Stevaughan Dowdye helped Boston English's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 57 yards.
Cashe Williams was a key player and the best on defense this week as Kevin Gadson's team defeated Boston Latin Academy. The 6-foot-0 senior recorded 1 fumble.
Pena-Sanchez was the best receiver in the league this week as the Bulldogs fell to Dorchester. Pena-Sanchez racked up 4 receptions for 75 yards. Dowdye helped Boston English's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 57 yards.
