 Meanwhile,  after soaring to 17  runs the game before, De Soto was a bit more limited  in their  matchup  last Tuesday. They took  a  6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Piper.
 Ottawa now  has a winning record of 6-5. As for De Soto, they now  have a losing record at 2-3-1.
 Ottawa took their  win against De Soto  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2023 by a conclusive  11-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ottawa since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
