Carrington Crutcher of Evansville Bosse ran for the longest rushing play in Southern Indiana this season against Princeton last week. Crutcher scampered for 99 yards on the play and finished with 327 on the day as his team bested the Tigers.
Evansville Mater Dei added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Sullivan, 35-20. The victory was the 11th in a row for the Wildcats.
Evansville North's dynamic duo of Jesse Millikan and Maalik Butler proved tough for Terre Haute South Vigo to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Millikan threw for 184 yards and 2 touchdowns and Butler had 80 yards receiving. Ryan Wargel helped Evansville North's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 36 yards.
He went 14-22 with 0 interceptions.
Crutcher was a passing and rushing force as Evansville Bosse topped Princeton. Crutcher's key target this week was Arius Carter, who caught 4 passes for 51 yards.
Crutcher was a force in the backfield as Andre Thomas' team bested Waylon Schenk's team.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Bulldogs' Ian Nunley and Nick Hansen have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-9 quarterback Nunley has thrown for 2,439 yards this season, while Hansen has 43 catches for 796 yards. Evansville Reitz took down Silver Creek 49-15 last week, the largest margin of any game. Malik Higgins ran for 120 yards and caught 2 passes for 38 yards during the win.
