On Monday, Legacy Charter lost to Pine Ridge at home by a decisive 47-31 margin.
Ashlyn Kraus and Mckenzie Williams certainly did their best on Monday to try and avoid the loss. Kraus scored 16 points along with seven rebounds, while Williams scored no points along with 11 rebounds and two steals.
Legacy Charter struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Legacy Charter has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Pine Ridge, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Legacy Charter will square off against Forest Lake Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pine Ridge won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Father Lopez at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. Father Lopez will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
