On Friday, the Carlmont Scots got the win against the Monte Vista Christian Mustangs by a conclusive 48-28.

Downie was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 68 yards. Nate Collins also helped out as he racked up 102 receiving yards.
Carlmont now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Monte Vista Christian, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carlmont will challenge South San Francisco at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Carlmont has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 150 points over their last three contests. As for Monte Vista Christian, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Everett Alvarez at 7:30 p.m. Both might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 866 yards in their previous games.
