Basketball Recap: Georgia Ahlstrom Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat St. Benedict at Auburndale

Rossville Christian Academy won the last time they faced St. Benedict at Auburndale and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Rossville Christian Academy Wolves walked away with a 52-43 win over the St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rossville Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Georgia Ahlstrom, who posted 19 points and three steals. Ahlstrom is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Kimora Wooden was another key player, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 12 boards.

Rossville Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for St. Benedict at Auburndale, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.

Rossville Christian Academy will be taking part in a tournament against Madison-Ridgeland Academy at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Benedict at Auburndale will take on Middle College in a holiday battle at at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
