They breezed by Fellowship of Christian Athletes on the road to the tune of 46-18. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cristo Rey Jesuit also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2019.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cristo Rey Jesuit to victory, but perhaps none more so than Madison Brunson, who scored 20 points. Na'Veah Ward was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Cristo Rey Jesuit's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Fellowship of Christian Athletes, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Cristo Rey Jesuit will be playing in front of their home fans against Springdale Prep at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Fellowship of Christian Athletes will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cristo Rey Jesuit at 5:30 p.m. on January 6, 2024.
