Northern Bedford County's Conner Kagarise recorded the longest rushing play in Inter-County - Gold this season in his game against Mt. Union last week. Kagarise scampered for 95 yards on the play and finished with 129 on the day as his team defeated the Trojans.
Northern Bedford County extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Mt. Union, 28-7. The victory was the sixth in a row for Jeff Batzel's team.
Casey Gray was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 17 carries, he ran for 163 yards as Bellwood-Antis beat Corey Wertz's team. Haden Degennaro also contributed to the rushing game with 38 yards on the ground.
Pressel was the best wideout in Inter-County - Gold this week as Northern Bedford County bested the Trojans. Pressel tallied nine receptions for 129 yards. Kyler Diehl helped Northern Bedford County's passing attack out by catching three balls for 52 yards.
Jonathan Sanker put up the best numbers through the air as West Branch beat Southern Huntingdon County. He finished with two completions for 69 yards and two touchdowns. Sanker's favorite target this week was Parker Emigh, who caught two passes for 69 yards.
The Panthers' Blake Over and Pressel have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Over has thrown for 1146 yards this season, while Pressel, a 6-foot-4 receiver, has 24 catches for 460 yards. The Warriors' Chad Speigle leads the league in rushing yards with 1006.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Northern Bedford County takes on West Branch. The Panthers are currently in first, while Lester Smeal's team is in third.
The Warriors took down the Rockets 42-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Sanker ran for seven yards in the win.
