The Havre de Grace Warriors will be playing at home against the Aberdeen Eagles at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Havre de Grace has nine straight victories, Aberdeen has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Even though Patterson Mill scored an imposing 55 points last Friday, Havre de Grace still came out on top. Havre de Grace snuck past Patterson Mill with a 61-55 victory.
Meanwhile, Aberdeen pushed their score all the way to 64 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 74-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of Edgewood. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Monday (60), Aberdeen still had to take the loss.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was DARION PARRIS, who scored 24 points along with two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of JOMAR CAMACHO, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Havre de Grace has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Aberdeen, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost 12 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.
Havre de Grace took their win against Aberdeen when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 84-60. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was PARRIS, who scored 22 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
