The Fullerton Indians''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 45-7 loss at the hands of La Habra. Fullerton was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.
When it comes to explaining why Fullerton lost, one person who can't be blamed is Deshawn Cobbs. Despite the final result, he rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown.
La Habra got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kenneth Saucedo out in front who threw for 124 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes. Brandon Giron was another key contributor, gaining 90 total yards and two touchdowns.
Fullerton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for La Habra, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
Fullerton will look to defend their home field on Friday against Buena Park at 7:00 p.m. La Habra will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Sonora at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Sonora is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
