After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Warren Central, The Neshoba Central Rockets were happy to have found some success on Friday. They blew past Ridgeland 40-0 on the road. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Neshoba Central's three-point performance the game before.
Mekhi Gaddis was a one-man wrecking crew for Neshoba Central as he rushed for 179 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also caught a touchdown. Charles StevensonJr also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Neshoba Central has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season. As for Ridgeland, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Neshoba Central will take on Callaway at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ridgeland, they will head out on the road to face off against Vicksburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
