 On the hitting side,  Leylana Dininny and  Maylen Johnson did most of the damage at the plate:  Dininny  earned one  RBI, three  runs,  and two  stolen bases, while  Johnson  went 1-for-2 with three  stolen bases and two  runs. Dininny has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times she's  played.  Annalisa Squatrito was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs and one  RBI.
Cape Henry Collegiate has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record  this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11 runs. As for Peninsula Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.
 Coming up, Cape Henry Collegiate will venture away from home to  take on Salem  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Peninsula Catholic, they will welcome Catholic  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
