The McLane Highlanders entered their tilt with the Sierra Pacific Golden Bears with two consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with three. McLane managed a  76-70 victory over Sierra Pacific  on Thursday. The  win was all the more spectacular given McLane's disadvantage  in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings  (they are ranked 351st, while Sierra Pacific is ranked 74th).
 McLane got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Keyvon  Burcher out in front who  scored 16 points along with 4  steals. Burcher is on a roll when it comes to  steals, as he's  now  stole two or more in the last three games he's  played.  Cedric  Hughes  was another key contributor,  dropping  a double-double on 19 points and 13  rebounds.
 Several Golden Bears players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Fabian Garcia, who  scored 13 points along with 5  rebounds and 3  steals. Another player making a difference was  Colin Dodd, who  scored 14 points along with 7  rebounds.
 The  win  got McLane back to even at 3-3. As for Sierra Pacific, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.
 McLane will square off against Orange Cove at 2:45  p.m.  on Friday. Orange Cove is coming into the  game on a three-game losing streak. Sierra Pacific is on the road again  on Friday and play against Chavez at 5:45  p.m.  on December 1st.
