First Philadelphia Prep's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a hard 40-24 fall against Martin Luther King. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points First Philadelphia Prep has scored all season.
Martin Luther King's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Makhai Robinson, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Benito Scott, who scored 11 points.
First Philadelphia Prep bumped their record down to 1-6 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Martin Luther King, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.
First Philadelphia Prep will head out on the road to face off against Parkway Center City at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Parkway Center City focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Saturday. As for Martin Luther King, they will be playing at home against MAST Charter II at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
