Palmyra-Macedon barely beat Midlakes the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Red Raiders put the hurt on the Screaming Eagles with a sharp 6-0 win on Monday. The Red Raiders haven't had any issues with the Screaming Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Not much got past Jayden Traster, who gave up just a hit and racked up seven Ks to keep Midlakes off the board. Traster has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Camron Quick was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Bishop Ramage also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Meanwhile, Mynderse Academy suffered their closest loss since May 5, 2025 on Monday. They fell just short of Wayne by a score of 4-2. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Palmyra-Macedon has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Mynderse Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Palmyra-Macedon beat Mynderse Academy 5-1 in their previous matchup back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Raiders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
