Ohio Valley Athletic recap September 10, 2013
Manchester scaled the state rankings by moving to 673 from 717 this week, the biggest jump in Ohio Valley Athletic. The Greyhounds were able to make move up by beating Huntington 24-12.
Miami Valley Christian Academy was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fourth to second in the league. The Lions beat Troy Christian 29-27 earlier in the week.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Manchester takes on Oyler. Jason Mantell's team is currently in first, while the MAD Hatters are in fourth.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Greyhounds take on Oyler. Manchester has allowed 25 points this season, while Thomas Blair's team has given up 40. The Greyhounds allowed 12 points last week as they beat the Huntsmen.
Miami Valley Christian Academy and the Eagles played the closest game in Ohio Valley Athletic this week, with Miami Valley Christian Academy eventually emerging with a 29-27 victory.
