Leading Swink to victory were Jocelynn James and Briana McElroy. James scored 13 points, while McElroy scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daisy Heberlie, who scored six points.
Swink's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7. As for Walsenburg, their defeat was their 11th straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Swink will take on Swallows Charter Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
