Meanwhile, North Murray unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They were outmatched by Rockmart on the road and fell 59-7. North Murray has struggled against Rockmart recently, as their contest on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Judson Petty put forth a good effort for the losing side as he picked up 120 receiving yards and a touchdown.
South Atlanta is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. As for North Murray, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.
