Baseball Recap: St. Edmond Comes Up Short

St. Edmond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 7-1 to the Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

St. Edmond's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Iowa Falls-Alden, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Cadets beat St. Edmond by a score of 4-0 later that day.
