The Capital Jaguars will head out to  square off against the La Cueva Bears  at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
It was a proper cat-fight when Capital took on Taos on Wednesday. The Jaguars never let the Tigers get on the board and left with  a   15-0  win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Jaguars.
 Capital got a  massive  performance out of  Brooklyn Cardenas, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, six  RBI,  and two  runs. That's the most  RBI  Cardenas has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Jadyn Padilla, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with one  home run, three  runs,  and two  RBI.
 Meanwhile, La Cueva entered their tilt with Eldorado on Saturday with 11 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 12. They put the hurt on the Golden Eagles with a sharp  15-3 victory.
 La Cueva pushed their record up to 16-3 with the  win, which was their 13th straight  on the road dating back to last season. The  road  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Capital, their win bumped their record up to 11-6-1.
 Both Capital and La Cueva just can't seem to miss. The Jaguars have been making plenty of contact this season,  having  averaged 9.4  hits per game. However, it's not like La Cueva struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  only 3.4  hits.
