Logan Elm (Circleville, Ohio) saw its 21-point lead shrink to seven, but hung on to beat
Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, Ohio) 35-28 on Saturday.
After trailing 21-7 at the half, the Bulldogs went ahead on a rushing touchdown with 6:00 remaining in the third.
Logan Elm grew its lead to 16 points entering the fourth quarter. LE scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by
Cory Heeler.
With the win the Circleville school extended its winning streak to three games.
Logan Elm (5-1) goes up against Liberty Union in a Mid-State - Buckeye game matchup next week, while Bloom-Carroll (4-2) locks horns with Circleville also in a Mid-State - Buckeye game.
