1A District 2 recap Sept. 26, 2012
Ridge View moved up to 157 from 188 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 1A District 2.
Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in the league.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when St. Edmond takes on IKM/Manning. The Gaels have allowed 41 points this season, while the Wolves have given up 75.
St. Edmond extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Raptors, 26-7. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
