Two dominant guards in Gavin Pittington and Tymber Cozzens are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The North Park Wildcats will be playing at home against the Little Snake River Rattlers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
North Park is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Caprock Academy on Saturday. North Park fell just short of Caprock Academy by a score of 43-40.

Despite the defeat, North Park had strong showings from Pittington, who posted 15 points and three steals, and Graham Cornelison, who earned 13 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Cornelison a new career-high in assists (two).
Meanwhile, Little Snake River entered their tilt with Fort Washakie on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They claimed a resounding 78-35 win over the Eagles. The Rattlers pushed the score to 58-25 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles had no chance of recovering from.
Little Snake River found their leader in sophomore Cozzens, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine boards. Mason Jones was another key player, putting up six points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.
Little Snake River smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in seven consecutive matches.
Little Snake River's victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for North Park, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: North Park has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 22.9 boards per game. However, it's not like Little Snake River struggles in that department as they've been averaging 32.9 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
