Loss or not, St. Francis got some senior leadership from Keenan Green who scored 13 points and Jaron Johnson who scored 14 points along with 8 rebounds. The match was Green's third in a row with at least ten points. Cameron Nerby was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 6 rebounds.
Lake Country Lutheran's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sam Hans led the charge by dropping a double-double on 20 points and 10 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Will Sivak, who scored 17 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
St. Francis' loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Lake Country Lutheran, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
