Second Baptist found their leader in underclassman Reese Alston, who scored 16 points along with 7 assists and 7 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Dyllan Thompson, who scored 18 points along with 9 rebounds.
Cooper's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Second Baptist, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.
Cooper will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Legacy Prep Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 7th. Legacy Prep Christian Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Cooper in Texas (Legacy Prep Christian Academy is ranked 354th, while Cooper is ranked 833rd). As for Second Baptist, they will face off against Houston Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Houston Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
