After losing to the Oxbridge Academy ThunderWolves the last time they met, the Calvary Christian Academy Eagles decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Calvary Christian Academy managed a 44-38 victory over Oxbridge Academy on Monday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Calvary Christian Academy.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Calvary Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Camryn Kanell, who scored 10 points along with 9 rebounds and 4 blocks. The game was Kanell's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Taryn Wakefield, who scored 16 points along with 9 rebounds.
Calvary Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Oxbridge Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calvary Christian Academy will take on NSU University at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oxbridge Academy, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Somerset College Prep Academy at 5:30 p.m. on December 11th.
