The North Valley Knights had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They breezed by Brookings-Harbor at home to the tune of 57-0. The result was nothing new for North Valley, who have now won three contests by 26 points or more so far this season.
North Valley's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Brookings-Harbor, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-8.
North Valley will square off against Phoenix at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Phoenix is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Brookings-Harbor, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Douglas at 3:00 p.m. on October 28th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oregon (Douglas is ranked 127th, while Brookings-Harbor is ranked 136th).
