 Meanwhile, Paul W. Bryant was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight  defeat. They fell  16-7 to Minor.
 Central's victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 2-0. As for Paul W. Bryant, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
