The Jackson Prep Patriots will play host again and welcome the Parklane Academy Pioneers, where tip off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, everything went Jackson Prep's way against Cathedral as Jackson Prep made off with a 49-24 victory. The victory was just what Jackson Prep needed coming off of a 56-32 defeat in their prior game.
Parklane Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 26 points or more this season. They breezed by Clinton Christian Academy on the road to the tune of 45-17. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 32-5.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Parklane Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zoe Alford, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carlyle Carruth, who scored 9 points.
The victory got Jackson Prep back to even at 6-6. As for Parklane Academy, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
