Cornerstone Christian found their leader in underclassman Tamia Ballard, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds. The match was Ballard's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Kendall Coots was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five assists.
Life Christian Academy bumped their record down to 0-5 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.7 points per game. As for Cornerstone Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.
Life Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Marshall Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
