A well-balanced attack led Mountain Ridge over Riverton in every quarter on their way to victory on Thursday. The Mountain Ridge Sentinels put the hurt on the Riverton Silverwolves with a sharp 68-43 win. The Sentinels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 23 points or more this season.
Mountain Ridge got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jada Jangard out in front who went 5 for 10 to rack up 11 points along with six assists and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jessica Maynard, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds.
Jangard wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Mountain Ridge was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They racked up eight more assists than Riverton's also-impressive total of ten.

The win was the third in a row for Mountain Ridge, bringing their record for this year to 14-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points over those games. As for Riverton, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountain Ridge will head out to face off against Bingham at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Kya Newton and Addy Horsley.
