Softball Recap: San Jose Has No Trouble Against Yerba Buena

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask San Jose). They blew past the Yerba Buena Aztec Warriors 23-4 on Wednesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Bulldogs with their most commanding win of the season.

Gabriella Andrade was a standout: she scored four runs and stole four bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Genesis Davila was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4.

San Jose has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

San Jose didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 21-8 victory against Hill on the 21st. As for Yerba Buena, they have also already played their next match, a 20-5 loss against Independence on the 21st.
