Riverside had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They walked away with a 55-45 victory over Mount Hope Christian Academy.

Riverside's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Anna Roop led the charge by putting up 11 points in addition to six steals and five assists. Roop has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Ward, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds.

When it comes to explaining why Mount Hope Christian Academy lost, don't look at SOPHIA PACK. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine boards. PACK continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was MCKENNA JONES, who posted nine points and seven rebounds.

Riverside's win bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Mount Hope Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-9.

Looking ahead, Riverside will take on St. Albans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mount Hope Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
