Jack Bonney made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, after only one run in their last game, Broadwater Academy made sure to put some runs up on the board against Arcadia on Thursday. The Vikings came out on top against the Firebirds by a score of 10-6.
Like Greenbrier Christian Academy, Broadwater Academy also got a great game from a two-way player: Izid Tountas. He struck out nine batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off one hit (and only one walk). Tountas has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
In other pitching news, Teddy Seybolt looked comfortable as he struck out eight batters over 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Broadwater Academy is undefeated when Seybolt allows two or fewer earned runs, but 3-5-1 otherwise.
Back at the plate, Aidan Fuller was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. He has become a key player for Broadwater Academy: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three RBI, but 3-5-1 otherwise. Broadwater Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Greenbrier Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 17-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Greenbrier Christian Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 6.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Broadwater Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Greenbrier Christian Academy's way against Broadwater Academy in their previous matchup back in March, as Greenbrier Christian Academy made off with a 24-0 win. Will the Gators repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
